Dinner for 100!

A friend of mine, Jim Haynes has been hosting dinner parties every Sunday for over 30 years now. I can join the ranks of people who said they've not only attended one of his parties but I along with one other person successfully cooked dinner for 100 people.
Michael and I cooked all day Saturday and all day Sunday and let me tell you, it was down to the wire! We made a Mexican feast which was very received(not much Mexican food around these parts). My classical French cuisine training is already paying off :)
The best thing about these parties are the people you meet. You will find all different people from all around the world from an Estonian opera singer to a Cordon Bleu student from Oklahoma to a Video game designer from Osaka. Eclectic doesn't begin to describe it.
